It's been a while since I shopped on Cortland Avenue and this was not a planned stop. Coming early and finding a parking space in front of this store, I was there to get lunch for my family on a Sunday morning. take and go counter, I picked the spaghetti and meatballs (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=BW18k5RG84Rw9D0jcWrBtg), which I steamed for a weekend lunch at home. It was a bit on the dry side but tasty as the sauce is tangy and flavorful. I liked that I merely covered the provided aluminum container with foil, baking it in my toaster oven. I also bought a plastic tub of Teresa's salsa (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=X5p2lC9zT7SVczCrTKKD8A), a brand I've never seen (Santa Cruz) as well as a bottle of pasta sauce (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=s6NOe6OuMYz0bk78rXr_lg). The salsa was okay but I liked that it was from a local business. I will try the pasta in the next couple of weeks. I have not visited Cortland Avenue for a number of years save an Elite event at United Dumplings during Covid. Coming on a Sunday morning, I saw a steady flow of people going in and out of this market with small bags. Great that this place has modernized substantially with the attractive counters for the take and go, deli, and meat sections.

Other than Mainstay this is the only grocery store I feel good patronizing. It's affordable and their produce is always fresh and organic. Plus they have a large variety of items from fresh meats and cheeses to staples and snacks. They also have a butchers counter, fresh seafood, and a great deli section where you can find pasta salad and sushi made on site. Friendly staff and employee owned is one of the things I love about this place. They have two locations. The Potrero Hill location is the smaller of the two, where Bernal Heights offers a vast variety of wine and liquor and a larger produce section.

I love living near to this grocery store. They have a wide variety of groceries in addition to ready to eat food. I love the premade sandwiches, especially the pesto turkey one. The staff here are always so friendly but the prices are a little high (which makes sense for the convenience).

I adore this market in the heart of Bernal! We found everything we needed during our 4-day stay in the hood. It reminds me so much of Fairway Market on the Upper Westside of Manhattan, where I (happily!) shopped for a couple weeks this summer. It's got everything, well-organized, friendly staff, delicious bagels! And a deli that has an abundance of great salads in addition to the meats and fish. Coming from Berkeley, I didn't find it particularly pricey but specialty food markets do tend to be higher priced for selection and convenience.

Best neighborhood grocery ever. They have everything and then some. Organic brands and conventional ones, fancy products and everyday ones. They're great neighbors. And the workers are mostly super helpful and friendly. Prices might seem a little high, but they're running a small shop in a super expensive city and we are super grateful they're there.

I absolutely love the Good Life Grocery! This is my go-to spot for all my grocery needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the selection of organic produce and specialty items is fantastic. A standout feature of the Good Life Grocery is their prepared food section. They have a great selection of sandwiches, salads, and hot dishes that are perfect for a quick and healthy lunch on-the-go. The prices can be a bit higher than some other grocery stores in the area, but I think the quality of the products and the convenience of having everything in one place makes it worth it. Overall, I highly recommend the Good Life Grocery to anyone looking for a great grocery store in San Francisco!

I really love this grocery store because they have fresh produce and foods. It is small but has everything I am looking for and decently wide aisles. I can find my fresh produce, eggs, milk, frozen stuffs, bread, meat, and dessert here - basically everything on my grocery list. It makes me excited because for a tiny grocery store, you wouldn't expect them to carry absolutely everything. The quality is so good that their stuff lasts a bit longer in my fridge without turning bad. Worth the price and visit. Sometimes I buy their ready made sushi too. It is not bad for grocery store sushi, and is a great deal. The cashiers are really friendly and chat with me about which breads to buy and what I'm making for dinner.

Still one of my favorite stores. It's tiny, so if you see a line outside, that's them just shuffling through people during COVID. I could go on and on, but here is what I buy here: - Great meat, excellent butchers - fresh grab and go sushi - great beer and wine selection (for real and not too expensive) - amazing cheeses and best calevestrano olives - fresh produce, it's like going to the farmer's market - but in a store. - healthy frozen foods, ice creams and snacks - last but not least, desserts - they have cakes, pies and sweets for that last minute celebration or birthday.
